Pistol Intelligence

This 1-day course focuses on the foundational skills needed for all pistol training. Topics covered included: Range etiquette, safety, fundamentals of marksmanship, clearing stoppages, common mistakes, draw stroke, and mindset. This course is designed for people looking to develop or maintain a skill set that focuses on realistic skills that are proven to survive the test of duress and limited time constraints. This course does not meet the requirements for a CPL. Fee- $175 + $25 range fee.

Class sizes are limited and run about 7-9 hours in length starting at 09:00am.
Who can attend?
All U.S. citizens legally allowed to possess a firearm.

What to bring-
1. Serviceable semi-automatic pistol.
2. 300 rounds of ammunition.
3. Three magazines
4. A minimum of one magazine pouch.
5. A Kydex-type holster with trigger guard coverage. No SERPA’s.
6. Eye & Ear Protection.
7. Sunscreen/Bug Spray/Bag Chair.
8. Water/Snacks.

Pistol Performance

This 1-day course starts with an audit of the student’s basic skill sets (draw, accuracy, reloads, etc). The rest of the course focuses on proper draw, cover/concealment, recoil management, one-handed manipulations (injured shooter), movement, and mindset. This course does not meet the requirements for a CPL. Fee- $200 + $25 range fee.

Red Dot Pistol- Now MCOLES 302 approved!!!

This 1-day course teaches the foundational skills needed to operate a Red Dot Sight on a handgun. Topics covered include finding the dot upon presentation, proper body mechanics, diagnosing grip efficiency with dot behavior, recovery of the optic in recoil, and optic malfunctions.  This course does not meet the requirements for a CPL. Fee- $225 + $25 range fee.

This RDS (Red Dot Sight) Instructor course is designed after years of culmination
of skill and technique development with an RDS to help expedite the learning curve for new instructors.
This training will provide the instructor with a comprehensive understanding of being able to apply the
RDS as well as concepts and principles for teaching students to best use their RDS optic.
