Red Dot Pistol
This 1-day course teaches the foundational skills needed to operate a Red Dot Sight on a handgun. Topics covered include finding the dot upon presentation, proper body mechanics, diagnosing grip efficiency with dot behavior, recovery of the optic in recoil, and optic malfunctions. This course does not meet the requirements for a CPL. Fee- $225 + $25 range fee.
Class sizes are limited and run about 7-9 hours in length starting at 09:00am. Who can attend? All U.S. citizens legally allowed to possess a firearm.
What to bring- 1. Serviceable semi-automatic pistol. 2. 250 rounds of ammunition. 3. Three magazines
4. A minimum of one magazine pouch. 5. A kydex-type holster with trigger guard coverage. No SERPA’s. 6. Eye & Ear Protection. 7. Sunscreen/Bug Spray/Bag Chair 8. Water/Snacks.
